We've partnered with Timpson to offer a quick and convenient way to trade in selected devices in-store.
Am I eligible to use Timpson?
You'll only see the Timpson option at checkout if your order meets the eligibility criteria.
To use Timpson:
- Your address must be within an eligible radius of a participating Timpson store.
- You must be trading in a single eligible device.
- The device must be an accepted iPhone, iPad or Samsung model.
- The payment method selected must not be a charity payment.
- The order must be placed within the United Kingdom.
You may not be offered the Timpson option if your device doesn't meet the required condition or eligibility criteria.
How does the process work?
- Complete your trade-in order online.
- Select Timpson as your sending method.
- You'll receive a QR code in your order confirmation email.
- Take your fully reset device and QR code to a participating Timpson store.
- A trained Timpson colleague will inspect the device and provide an instant offer.
You don't need to bring the original box or packaging.
How long does it take?
The in-store assessment usually takes around 5 to 10 minutes.
As part of the assessment, Timpson will check the condition of the device and confirm that it hasn't been reported as lost or stolen.
What if the condition is different to the one I selected?
The offer price may change if the device isn't in the condition originally described.
If this happens, you'll be given the revised offer and can choose whether to:
- Accept the updated value.
- Have the device returned to you and end the transaction.
When will I be paid?
If you accept the final offer, payment is usually issued within 15 minutes of the device being accepted by the Timpson colleague.
Payment will be sent to the account selected when you placed your order.
If you've received a payment confirmation email but the funds haven't arrived after 30 minutes, please contact us so we can check your payment details.
