If you're planning to sell a Samsung device to musicMagpie, you'll need to remove your Samsung account before sending it to us. Devices that remain linked to a Samsung account can't be processed until the account has been removed.
How can I remove my Samsung account?
You can remove your Samsung account directly from your device:
- Open Apps.
- Open Settings.
- Select Accounts.
- Select Samsung Account.
- Select your email address.
- Tap More in the top-right corner and select Remove Account.
- Tap Remove Account.
- Enter your password and confirm.
- Select Remove Account.
Your Samsung account should now be removed from the device.
Why do I need to remove my Samsung account?
Samsung account locks are designed to protect your device and personal information. Before we can process your device, all Samsung account security features must be removed.
What happens if I send a Samsung account-locked device?
We're unable to process devices that remain linked to a Samsung account.
If we receive a device that's still locked to a Samsung account, we'll return it to you so that the account can be removed.
Please note that this will delay your order and payment.
