What condition do Media items need to be in?

We only accept Media items that meet our quality standards. All items are checked during our quality assessment process before payment is made.

Books

Unfortunately, we can't accept books with any of the following:

  • Missing pages
  • Damaged pages
  • Defaced pages, including annotations, highlighting or drawings
  • Damage or discolouration caused by liquid, mould or deterioration over time
  • Significant damage to the cover

If a book doesn't meet our quality standards, we won't be able to make payment for it.

CDs, DVDs, and Games

We can only accept items in good condition. Common reasons for rejection include:

  • The original disc is missing
  • The disc doesn't match the cover or sleeve notes
  • The disc, artwork or sleeve notes are irretrievably damaged
  • The case is broken
  • The item is suspected to be non-original, counterfeit or pirated
  • The barcode or ISBN doesn't match the details entered on our website
  • The item doesn't have a barcode or ISBN

Do you pay more for unopened items?

No. All Media items are treated as second-hand, regardless of whether they've been opened or used.

For Media items, the offer price shown when the item is added to your order is the final offer price.

What happens if an item doesn't meet your standards?

Items that don't pass our quality assessment won't be accepted for payment.
