Where can I find my device's Serial or IMEI number?

Every device has a unique identifier known as a Serial Number or IMEI number. We may ask for this information when investigating insurance or lost parcel claims.

How can I find my IMEI number?

You can find your IMEI number in several ways:

Dial a code on your device

Enter: *#06# on your device's keypad. The IMEI number should appear on screen.

Check your device settings
You can usually find the IMEI or Serial Number within your device's settings menu.
Check the device itself

Depending on the model, the IMEI may be:

  • Printed on the back of the device.
  • Located underneath the battery.
Check your purchase records

You may also find the IMEI or Serial Number on:

  • Your original receipt or invoice.
  • The device's original packaging.
Contact your provider
If you're unable to locate the number, your original network provider or retailer may be able to help.
