We’ve teamed up with Timpson to offer you another easy and convenient way to sell your devices!
You will be offered our Timpson option at the checkout stage if your order meets the requirements:
- Your address is within an eligible radius of a Timpson location
- You only have one eligible item in your basket and not selling multiple items
- The payment option selected is not a Charity
How does it work?
Once you've completed your order, we'll email you a QR code contained within your Order Confirmation Email. Simply take your fully reset device (we dont need the box) and the QR code to your nearest Timpson location (we'll let you know the address of the nearest one on the Order Confirmation Email) where a trained Timpson colleague will inspect the device in person and provide an instant offer.
How long does the process take?
Overall, the process should take around 5 -10 minutes to complete. This is because our Timpson colleagues need time to assess the device, and check to make sure its not flagged by network providers or marked by authorities as lost or stolen.
The offer price can change if the device is not as described. The revised offer prices are provided by musicMagpie based on the current on site prices. If revised you can choose to have your device handed back and walk away, or, continued with the revised offer.
Getting Paid
If you choose to accept the offer, the Timpson colleague will take control of the device.
Your payment should be completed with 15 minutes after the offer has been confirmed by the Timpson colleague.
We pay you directly to the account chosen when placing the order.
In the rare instance you receive the payment email and 30 minutes have passed without payment, its likely you may have used incorrect details. Contact our customer services to resolve the issue.
Please note, from Monday the 20th of October 2025, you will not be charged a handling fee at any Timpson/musicMagpie Locations.
