We cannot accept stolen phones under any circumstances. We use a database called CheckMEND which provides us with the history of your phone.
If we receive a device and can see it has been registered as lost or stolen, the handset will be recycled responsibly without payment. Customers have 28 days, starting from the date the device is tested, to get the lost or stolen flag removed before the recycling process begins.
